Made for More: Live Worthy
Made for More: Live Worthy
Ephesians 4:1–16 October 19, 2025
Youtube Synopsis
God didn’t save you so you could sit still. He saved you so you could walk worthy.
In this message, we turn the corner in Ephesians—from what God has done for us (chapters 1 to 3) to what God wants to do through us (chapters 4 to 6). Paul writes from prison, not pulling the apostle card but the prisoner card, to remind us that a worthy life doesn’t always look like a winning one.
Worthy doesn’t mean performance. It means posture. It’s not about earning your calling. It’s about embodying it. You don’t walk to earn God’s favor; you walk because you already have it.
This message breaks down three powerful marks of a spiritually healthy church:
Spiritual Unity: We are one body, one Spirit, one hope. Walking worthy means walking together, not alone.
Spiritual Diversity: Unity doesn’t mean uniformity. Each of us has been given unique gifts. Not to be stored, but to be used to build up the body.
Spiritual Maturity: Maturity isn’t about how long you’ve been saved. It’s about growing into the image of Christ, standing on truth, and speaking that truth in love.
Using vivid metaphors, from bibs and towels to body parts and blueprints, this message challenges the idea of passive Christianity. You weren’t made to be a consumer. You were made to contribute.
From humility to unity, from giftedness to growth, Paul lays out a vision for what it means to live a life that reflects the One who called you. This is a call to live worthy of your calling. Not in isolation, but in community, on mission, fully engaged.
