DAY 3

[Read: 1 John 1:3–4]

📖 NIV: “We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We write this to make our joy complete.”

📖 MSG: “We saw it, we heard it, and now we’re telling you so you can experience it along with us, this experience of communion with the Father and his Son, Jesus Christ. Our motive for writing is simply this: We want you to enjoy this, too. Your joy will double our joy!”

[Pasue Here for a Minute…]

Fellowship isn’t just a church word—it literally means deep connection, closeness, sharing life with someone.

And here’s the wild part: John says we get to have fellowship with the Father and with Jesus. That’s not just a line. That’s access to the God who created everything. Full access. Not earned—given.

Let that hit you.

You’re not just allowed to believe in God. You’re invited to know Him. Walk with Him. Be known by Him. You don’t need a middleman. The same God who spoke the universe into existence wants to share joy with you. And when you really know Him—you’ll want to bring others in, too.

Because when something’s that good, you don’t keep it to yourself.

[Think About It]

What does it mean to have “fellowship” with God—not just believe in Him, but actually know Him?

How would your joy change if you shared that kind of relationship with others?

[Go Deeper]

📖 John 17:3 – “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”

📖 Romans 8:14–16 – The Spirit testifies we are God’s children—we’re not outsiders.

📖 Psalm 16:11 – “In your presence there is fullness of joy.”

[Reflection]

Are you living like someone who has full access to God?

What would change if you really believed that?

[Action]

Take 5 minutes today—no music, no distractions—and thank God that you can be close to Him. Just sit in that truth. If it helps, write out a prayer or text a friend something that God is showing you.
