DAY 2
[Read: 1 John 1:2–3]
📖 NIV:
“The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.”
📖 MSG:
“The Infinite Life of God Himself took shape before us. We saw it, we heard it, and now we’re telling you so you can experience it along with us—this experience of communion with the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.”
[Don't Miss This]
John isn’t just flexing his credentials—he’s inviting you into the best thing that’s ever happened to him.
He’s not just saying, “Hey, I saw Jesus.”
He’s saying, “You can know Him too.”
Christianity isn’t a solo sport. John wants us to know that fellowship with Jesus is always meant to include fellowship with others who know Him. It’s not just about personal salvation; it’s about shared life.
Jesus didn’t die just to give us access to God—but to pull us into a whole new kind of community. One that’s centered around Him.
[Think About It]
Why do you think knowing Jesus leads to community, not just private faith?
How might your view of “church” change if you saw it more as family than a place or event?
[Go Deeper]
📖 Acts 2:42 – The early church was devoted to teaching, fellowship, and sharing life.
📖 1 Corinthians 12:27 – “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”
📖 John 17:20-21 – Jesus prayed for all believers to be one, just as He and the Father are one.
[Reflection]
Where in your life are you isolating spiritually—maybe keeping quiet when you should be connecting?
Is there someone God’s nudging you to invite into your walk with Him?
[Action]
Text or message one person today and share a truth God’s been teaching you.
Don’t overthink it. You’re not preaching—just being real.
