We’re constantly choosing sides—even when we don’t realize it. What we watch, what we chase, who we follow, how we talk—it’s all revealing something deeper: our loyalty.

John isn’t vague here. He says if we say we love God, but don’t obey Him, we’re lying. That’s a punch to the gut. But it’s also clarity in a confusing world. You can’t love God and live like He doesn’t matter.

And you can’t follow Jesus and still follow the world.

God’s not asking for perfection. He’s asking for loyalty—love that shows up in action. Because real love isn’t just a feeling. It shows up in what we choose.

This week is all about testing what (and who) we’re loyal to. It’s not about shame. It’s about alignment.
